Blanket Sunday |

Each year the Christian Women's Fellowship designates one
Sunday in October as Blanket Sunday. On this Sunday an offering will be taken to
support the Tools of Hope and Blanket program of Church World Service. These funds
provide blankets, bedding, tents, plastic sheets, and other emergency supplies wherever
there is a humanitarian need. This year we are well aware of the many natural disasters that have affected our country. Church World Service emergency response to these multiple disasters has been significant, but more help is needed. Your gifts provide urgently needed necessities of life to all who are suffering from the trauma of floods, earthquakes, hurricanes and other natural and human-made disasters. |
